| The NMMI experience comprises a demanding set of challenges designed to test and grow a cadet’s talents, abilities and self-confidence. NMMI provides a comprehensive college preparatory curriculum at the high school level and univerity parallel curriculum at the junior college level, both within a structured environment of discipline and physical development that emphasizes the NMMI motto of "Duty, Honor, Achievement."
Cadets are encouraged to reach beyond existing, often self-imposed, limits in academic, leadership, and physical activities. The focus of the NMMI experience is on each cadet’s success through individual attention and mentoring by their instructors in the classroom and their leaders in the Corps of Cadets. Each graduating cadet is well-equipped to handle the challenges of college life after NMMI.
